The area between the South Downs and the Surrey Hills has some of the most characterful housing in the south of England: Georgian townhouses, Victorian villas, Arts and Crafts houses, converted barns and well-built modern homes. Each brings its own challenges, from sloping floors and solid walls to tight lofts and awkward stacks. The Aldermere team has worked in all of them.

Bordon has changed enormously in recent years as the former garrison town has been regenerated, and the mix of brand-new homes and mid-century housing stock means a wide range of bathroom projects: first upgrades in new-builds where developers cut corners, and full rebuilds in 1950s and 60s houses that have never been properly modernised.
